Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to the ₹1499 application fee charged when a startup registers for The Pitch Floor, part of Founder Haus (August 21–23, 2026, Chandigarh).
How refunds work
- Eliminated after Round 1 (online): 80% refund — ₹1199 back
- Eliminated after Round 2 (online): 50% refund — ₹749 back
- Selected for offline finals at Founder Haus: 0% refund — you're pitching live for ₹5 Lakh+
- All refunds processed within 7 working days of elimination
Processing time & method
Eligible refunds are processed within 7 working days of your elimination being recorded. Refunds are issued via Razorpay back to your original payment method (the same card, UPI ID, or bank account used to pay) — we cannot redirect a refund to a different account.
What isn't refundable
Startups selected for the offline final round in Chandigarh are not eligible for a refund of the application fee, regardless of their result in the final round — this reflects the cost of running the live event and the value of a place on the floor.
Applications rejected for not meeting eligibility criteria (for example, no working prototype/MVP, or exceeding the prior-funding cap) before entering Round 1 evaluation are not eligible for a refund, since the fee covers application processing and review.
Payment failures
If a payment is deducted from your account but your application was not confirmed (for example, due to a network error), contact us immediately with your payment ID — do not attempt to pay again before hearing back from us. We will verify the transaction with Razorpay and either confirm your application or process a full refund.
